Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Make sure to drink a lot of water before (and during, and after) your session.
Wear loose fitting clothing so that you are comfortable when you leave.
Start with a clean slate. It is important to remove all makeup and lotion to ensure your pores do not absorb any chemicals as they open up in the heat.
The ideal temperature for infrared saunas is 45-55°C (around 110-130°F). You can adjust the temperature to your comfort level. In an infrared sauna, the air temperature is less important than the quality of the infrared heat. Your core body temperature will rise as your body absorbs the infrared heat, inducing a deep and relaxing sweat. You will receive all of the relaxation benefits of a traditional infrared sauna along with the increased health benefits that infrared offers all at a much more comfortable temperature.
We recommend a bathing suit or your birthday suit. Regardless of what you do or don’t wear, we kindly ask that you sit on the provided bench towel during your session to facilitate our cleaning procedures.
We provide towels for sauna use. If you plan on showering afterwards, feel free to ask us for an extra towel. You may also bring your own towels if you prefer.
